「代表チームの成功によって連盟は相当の利益を得たのです。貢献度を考えれば、選手にそれ相応の見返りがあって当然だと思います。まだ話し合いが決着した訳ではありませんが、一先ず合意に至ったのでキャンプに戻る事が出来ますよ。しばらく締め出されていたんです。連盟から彼らが提示した契約書にサインしなければ、予選には出場させないと言われてねぇ。でも問題が片付いて良かったです。後は試合に集中して我々の主張には理由があったとそう証明したいですねぇ」

「最終予選に残った６チームの内本大会に行けるのは上位３チームです。４位になってもアジア地区のチームとのプレーオフに勝てば大丈夫。目標はドイツ行きですが、２００５年はタフな一年になるでしょう。２００６年にドイツに辿りつく為に、準備を進めて行かなければなりません」

With Jerome Bonnissel injured before Christmas Chris Coleman was left with a defensive headache prior to the January 2004 transfer window. While with Crew he was a seven-time MLS All-Star and the side痴 all-time leading scorer with 50 goals in 137 games.An international star ・and widely recognised as the best header of the ball in America ・McBride played a starring role in the 2002 World Cup where he scored the USA痴 winning goals against Portugal and Mexico on route to the Quarter Finals.
