経費削減で選手に毒?恐怖の計画発覚

イングランドチャンピオンシップリーグ(2部に相当)のリーズで、経費削減のため所属選手に毒を盛るという前代未聞の計画が発覚した。27日付サンデー・ミラー紙がスクープとして報道。クラブ役員が、元イングランド代表DFデュベリーら高額年俸4選手を標的に、クラブ提供の食事でパルメザンチーズに似せてコカインを混入し、暴漢を雇ってケガを負わせるなどの計画を練っていたという。イングランドサッカー協会が同紙に、取材時に入手した証拠の提出を求め、近く本格的な調査に乗り出す。
